Answers to the things people ask most. If yours isn't here, email me — I read everything.
AryaVRCam needs the TrueDepth camera — the same hardware that powers Face ID — to track your face. It works on iPhone X and later. It does not work on iPhone SE models or iPads, which have no TrueDepth sensor.
If your iPhone does have Face ID and the preview is still black, check Settings → AryaVRCam → Camera is switched on.
No. The ad is always optional. Tapping "Save Now" saves immediately, and if you're offline or no ad happens to be available, the video saves with no ad at all. Watching one is just a way to support the app if you feel like it.
AryaVRCam Pro removes the offer entirely.
Saving needs permission to add to your photo library. Check Settings → AryaVRCam → Photos and make sure it's set to "Add Photos Only" or "Full Access".
If your device is very low on storage, the save can also fail. Free up some space and try again — the video stays in the review screen until it saves successfully, so it isn't lost.
Face tracking needs a reasonably lit, unobstructed view of your face. Strong backlighting, heavy shadow, or something covering part of your face will degrade it.
For photo masks specifically, try switching Photo Fit in the quick settings — Mesh Remap, UV Atlas, and 3D Head suit different source photos. A straight-on, well-lit, front-facing photo gives by far the best result.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by AryaVRCam. Go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → AryaVRCam and tap Cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
You can also reach this from the app's sidebar under Manage Subscription.
Open the sidebar and tap Restore Purchases. This re-checks your entitlement with the App Store and is the fix in almost every case — particularly on a new device or after reinstalling.
Make sure you're signed into the same Apple Account you bought it with.
For Apple's tracking permission: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
If you're in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you can also reopen Google's consent form from the app's sidebar under Privacy Options.
No. Face tracking, mask rendering, and video encoding all happen on your iPhone. Your recordings and the photos you pick never leave the device. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
Yes — sidebar → Replay Intro.

It helps a lot if you include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when it went wrong.
